Greeters & Ushers

Welcome all to our Sunday liturgies, especially guests and new parishioners; distribute bulletins and assist at Communion.

Ministers of the Eucharist

Assist the celebrant and deacons in distributing the Eucharist at liturgical celebrations, and minister to the home-bound.

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God at Sunday and weekday liturgies.

Altar Servers

Assist the presider at liturgy. OLM Altar Servers meet on the last Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Parish Hall.

Eucharistic Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed to and adored by the faithful weekly on Wednesdays, concluding with Vespers and Benediction.

Mass Coordinators & Sacristans

Prepare the Church, sacristy, altar servers, lectors, and Eucharistic ministers for the celebration of Mass.

Music

Choirs

Bilingual music ministry leading worship at weekend and weekday Mass.

Faith Formation

Religious Education (CCE)

Sacramental preparation and faith formation for children, with parents serving as primary catechists supported by senior parish catechists.

RCIA for Children & Adults

Rite of Christian Initiation for children and adults entering the Catholic Church.

Outreach

Knights of Columbus

Mercedes Local Council. Members conduct food drives, support Special Olympics, and assist families in the parish and community, guided by the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA)

One of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas, supporting charities and scholarship programs. Meets the second Tuesday of each month.

Our Lady of Mercy Food Bank

Provides much-needed food resources to families in need and the homebound. Distribution every 3rd Thursday of the month, 2:00–3:00 PM.

Home Visiting of the Sick

Bringing Communion and pastoral care to parishioners who are sick or homebound.

Rosary Group

Gathers for the Holy Rosary in community devotion.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

Prayed daily at 3:00 PM using ordinary rosary beads of five decades — join in person or continue this devotion at home.

Holy Rosary

Prayed daily at 6:30 PM in community devotion to Our Lady.

The Angelus

Prayed daily at 12:00 PM — a devotion commemorating the Incarnation.

Reflect on the daily Mass readings as part of your personal prayer life throughout the week.
